Center for Mathematical Sciences

The 2012 Haifa Matrix Theory Conference will take place at the Technion, on November 12-15, 2012, under the auspices of the Technion's Center for Mathematical Sciences.

This will be the sixteenth in a sequence of matrix theory conferences held at the Technion since 1984. The ILAS lecturer in the conference will be Prof. Thomas Laffey.

As in the past, all talks will be of 30 minutes duration, and will cover a wide spectrum of theoretical and applied linear algebra.

This year we would like to commemorate two of our colleagues, Prof. Michael (Miki) Neumann and Prof. Uriel G. Rothblum,
by hosting special sessions in their memory.

Titles and abstracts of contributed talks should be sent, no later than May 31, 2012, to Abraham Berman (berman@technion.ac.il) or Ms. Eline Zehavi (cms@math.technion.ac.il)

Additional support for the conference is provided by: The Moshe Yanai Fund for the Promotion of International Conferences at the Technion, The Ruth & Allen Ziegler Center for the Learning Sciences at the Technion and The International Linear Algebra Society.
